A special Ramadan get-together was organized by  Mohammed Rasool Khoory & Sons group to recognize and honor outstanding performance of its staff.

Held yearly during Ramadan, the event is set in a family atmosphere wherein the Chairman and Members of the Board meet the entire staff of the Group in recognition of their continued efforts in the development of the Group's business.

During the Ramadan Event, Youssif Mohamed Rasool Khoory, Deputy Chairman of the Board – CEO of the Group, reviewed the group's expansion of its watches and jewelry business by modernizing the existing shops and opening new branches, and announced the overall increase of sales in this sector.

He also announced the Group's foray into the franchise restaurant business with new investment agreements that were signed with the PETEK – the Turkish restaurants group, which when finally open is to be one of the biggest restaurants in Abu Dhabi. Along with this, the group has also partnered with MARANELLO - the Italian chain of restaurants, which will start receiving customers by the end of 2014.

Youssef Mohamed Rasool Khoory also announced the group entry into the field of perfumes trading and manufacturing. The group has signed up with "SADEEN" - a Kuwait based perfume brand to launch exclusive sales points at various shopping malls in the UAE by September 2014.

During the event, a group of journalists and reporters were considered as the group's partners in success and development, and were honored along with the group's staff.

The highlight of this year's Ramadan event was the honoring of Ahmed Mohamed Rasool Khoory, the Chairman of the Board, by the Directors of the Board in recognition of the long years of efforts in scrutinizing and pursuing work on a day to day basis and for his constant follows up on of the development of business. His vision and dedication has led to the successes achieved by the Group during his tenure as the Chairman of the Board, and also includes his tenure under the guidance of the group's late founder Mohamed Rasool Khoory.
